Berrington Hall Golf and Country Club 18 hole course is set in 260 acres of quiet natural parkland with a heathland feel to parts of which native gorse grows throughout. Natural water features form part of the layout which brings wildlife to the forefront of this wonderful landscape.
Tight but fair well manicured and shaped fairways based on a well drained sand bed which should ensure all year round golf. Four challenging Par 5's, four well layed out and picturesque Par 3's and ten good length Par 4's make up the 7000 plus yard course.
Berrington Hall Golf and Country Club's 9 hole par 3 course offers the opportunity to practice your short game and is ideal for both beginners, juniors and family groups.

This course has so much potential to be amazing. In fairness, I'm not huge off the tee and can struggle with the length of the course, especially when playing 18 holes.

I love the elevated tees and there are plenty of holes that punish you if you're not accurate.

It improves every time I play there.

A good course but very long, greens are well looked after and tee boxes could do with some more work if they are to keep up with other local courses. Welcoming though and good down to earth clubhouse facilities

I have been a member here for the last 4 years. The course has served me well. However the amount of promises that have been made in last 2 years regarding improvements to the facilities and course. Not to mention the hike in price I paid for the 2016-2017 season has left a sour taste in my mouth. I have sent emails to the club regarding the my disappointment and informed them that I would not be renewing my membership for the new season. These emails have never been replied to by the club. One of the reasons for this maybe due to the fact that the ownership of the club has changed again over the space of 18 months. Regarding the course, I must say it has improved in the recent month months. However when I say the course has improved, there is still a long way to go. Tee boxes are never maintained and never seem to be level. Fairways are more like semi rough. Greens very hard. Pitching on to the greens, do not expect the ball to grab, as nine times out of ten the ball will bounce and bounce. The course layout is good. And the potential of course and club is massive. Unfortunately I cannot see this developing in the near future. However I hope I eat my words with this review.

We appreciate all feedback whether good or bad, we have carried out an intensive winter program, and to this end it has meant that we have had to protect certain parts of the course more than usual, this is with the long term vision to create great surfaces for a long period of time, not a short term gain for a long term loss

Great Layout and long, tests all the clubs in the bag things are

    mmmmm
Where to start... thats the question...
Membership is excellent value for money...
They have very proactive committee and the club as some different competition suit all thats of handicap..
    Love this course.It's still maturing.
You can't attack this course as you ll end up in trouble.
Course was adequate for the time of year, course layout is different and challenging. The length of the course is probably the only thing making this a championship course. Give it another 5 years or so and this will be worthy of calling itself a championship course and holding amateur events.

I really enjoy playing this course and the layout offers a great test of golf. There are imo 15 good holes with12, 13 &14 a little bland for me. A feast of elevated tees and good driving holes. This is a relatively young course and the greens need to improve. It represents great value for money and the temporary clubhouse is friendly and welcoming. Go to test your long game and accept the greens need to improve. A little further up the road is a well stocked golf store, driving range and 9 hole par3 course.

I last played NWN before they completed the cllubhouse build and finalised the hole layout, but even then it was clear that this young course had potential.

Longer than most other courses I've played its certainly a challenge with some interesting holes and plenty of hazards. Also with Clarkes golf Centre over the road with a great pro-shop and short game area its facilities are miles better than most other courses nearby

Judging from their Facebook profile I will be returning soon to see how the course plays in its finalised layout and check out the clubhouse.

This course has a few good points but several bad points.

Good point - the fairways were fairly dry considering the time of year and the recent weather.

Bad points - playing off winter mats that are so uneven it's really off putting and spending what seems like an eternity removing all the small stones that litter the mats.

Being told there are no temporary greens only to find there are 2.

No mention of a long par 5 being reduced to a 100 yard par 3!

This is the type of club you only play in the winter as it's certainly miles behind other clubs in the area when the weather warms up and courses are in full bloom!

With regards to comments left we can categorically state that in the whole winter period we do not have temporary greens as we have none on site. With regards to the winter course comment only time will tell in regards to this. We appreciate all feedback whether good or bad as it enables us to move forward in a positive light.

Played here today 25/01/15 and to be fair with the weather we have had recently the course was in deccent condition. The greens were in ok condition for this time of year albeit a bit bobbly it was great to be playing on full greens. The course was in fair condition only abit boggy on certain holes. For this time of year you would struggle to find a course in similar condition within the area. Only one slight downside was winter tee mats but it was only teeing off and fairways were in normal play.
