Established in 1904, Blackpool North Shore Golf Club is a friendly private members golf club situated only a few hundred yards from the Irish Sea. Our 6444 yard Par 71 course provides a true links style golf experience, with fast undulating greens. BNSGC creates an interesting but fair challenge to golfers of all abilities and has been an Open Championship qualifying course. As the home of the James Brearley Lancashire Open for the past 15 years BNSGC is well known throughout Lancashire for it's excellent finely manicured greens.

Our recently refurbished Clubhouse provides excellent facilities for entertaining, dining or just relaxing after a long hard round of golf and is situated on the highest point in Blackpool. This allows stunning views across the Irish Sea and on a clear summer's evening you can even see as far as the Isle of Man!

We welcome applications for membership and a warm reception awaits visitors, golf societies and new members alike.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Not the most challenging course, Blackpool North Shore is pretty much wide open off the tee with the result that there are plenty of occasions where you are in danger form errant tee shots (sometimes blind) on neighbouring holes.

There are few hazards on the course, just the odd pond and a sensible number of bunkers. The main defence for the course is the strength of the wind, which can play havoc on this exposed terrain.

The greens on my latest visit were quick and true, and the catering excellent. A decent and cheap society venue I would suggest.

A nice course offering real value on green fees and always open during winter.

Some holes on the course are a real challenge in particular the two par fours that go up hill towards the club house (18th + another).

Great down hill par three early on the back nine which is always a difficult club choice.

Some reachable par fives that offer a good scoring opportunity.
Generally the greens are of a decent standard and course well looked after.
Facilties are not the best in terms of practice areas but a nice clubhouse with views across the course.
