Played here numerous times and I still can't get over the fact that there isn't any par 5s on the course. The greens are a bit to long. Some are like fairways. Great little mobile cafe to get you thorough your round at the half way point.

Enjoyed 18 holes of golf on Saturday.
£8 for 18 holes can't be bad. The course is interesting and is a good test. The greens were being treated so weren't in great condition but still allowed a fair attempt at putting.
We were charged twilight rates even though we started at 3.00pm - Thanks Bowring park for a pleasant game of golf at unbeatable rates.

This course offers a good challenge and is great value for money. No par 5s and only 2 par 3s mean there isn't much variety in par but a good variety in length if par 4s

Bowring Park has vastly improved from the neglected muni it used to be. Well maintained and the drainage issues over the bridge have gotten better, but it still suffers from the holes over the other side of the M62 being generally boring and I always find myself trying to play through them as quickly as possible to get back over the bridge.

for a quick and easy round, this is a perfect well maintained public course which for as little at £7.50 you cant argue... short course with excellent condition greens... great for the new comers and easy enough to have fun on...

After a recent trip to the open we fancied a nice little round somewhere close on the Monday morning.. After finding Bowring on-line we managed to get a deal for £12.50 each for 2 of us. To be honest we weren't too sure what to expect for the price but the reviews gave it a good write up..

We weren't disspointed... This was a lovely little course which straddles the motorway. However apart from walking over the bridge you couldn't tell. The Greens were some of the best I've ever played and after freshly being cut they were in perfect condition. Great work by the green staff. There is only 2 par 3's and the rest are par 4's so not a very long course however a great choice for an easy and quick round. There didn't seem many facilities here and the club shop was quite small and the only other downside was there were no rakes in the bunkers.

I would definitely recommend this course just for the greens alone...
