Played yesterday and the course was in excellent condition. We had some lovely weather and the views out on to the Dee estuary were spectacular.

Always a pleasure to play and the course is presented in great condition all year round, greens were quick and true although a little firm and not too receptive.

Overall a very good track which never disappoints.

What a nice golf course, the best holes are by the sea with great views across to the Welsh hills, I am sure if the sea breeze gets up these holes would be quite tricky. The clubhouse is lovely and the food/drink was excellent. We played 27 holes here and everyone fully enjoyed.

Visited Caldy many times over the last few years with Cargill golf society during the winter and the course has always been in very good condition and very playable. Worth a visit.

We played this course as a 4 ball on Thursday 3rd July 2014 as a courtesy from our local Club Heswall. Our arrival was met by extremely polite and helpful staff, the pro shop staff were excellent. Onto the course our round was a pure joy. The course was presented in an excellent condition, the greens ran true. They were very consistent and receptive to well hit shots. Our overall experience first class.
My signature hole has to be the short par 3 17th. A fantastically crafted par 3 where brute force gives way to craft and guile, a well struck shot has to be hit over an intimidating brook which draws in anything other than the perfect approach. Cadly's backdrop of the Welsh mountains, Hilbre Island and the River Dee is a match for anything on the British Isles and make this one of the most beautiful locations for a golf course in the UK. After the round friendly bar staff and food at very reasonable prices await you in the clubhouse which exploits the fantastic views of the Dee estuary. This course is a must play, a firm but fair test of golf for handicappers of every level
