British masters course 2017

This course is set to hold the British masters this year as Lee Westwood is the touring pro, it's set in magnificent surroundings with gorgeous views of the Northumberland countryside. The clubhouse is fantastic and the food is also excellent maybe a bit expensive overall but play this course from Late May onwards to get the full benefit of everything on offer, a warm friendly welcome awaits.

The course itself is hilly with a good mixture of holes and some beautiful par3s you have the choice of two courses in the summer months, the greens can be very quick so beware.

It's definitely a course to be played if your touring Northumberland but it is expensive but I'm sure you'll enjoy the course and the top class hospitality provided from all the staff.

Visited here in June 2016 and played the Colt course.

Situated just north of Newcastle, the course is a pretty new one, but oozes class. Long and difficult, with excellent greens and sone highly challenging par 3s, particularly the 9th with a carry of some 180 yards over water.

Overall the course has an American feel to it, and offers many challenges and changes in elevation.

If you are visiting here, it is worth staying overnight as the courtyard rooms are superbly appointed.
