This true hidden gem, nestled between the Snowdonia mountains and the sea is today regarded as having the best views in North Wales. Add to this quality fairways and well presented greens, this par 69 course offers great golfing and superb value for money. Here you'll find a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

What can i say, this really is a hidden gem. 11 holes (play 1 to 11, then 3 to 9 again!), terrible greens, no facilities whatsoever, but a joy to play. Its like a links course on a mountain, adventure golf at its best. As far as i can tell 1 greenkeeper looks after the whole course and the fairways are a credit to him, lush green grass kept a little too long to let the ball run too far, and as you can see from the elevated tee of the incredible 9th hole beautifully manicured.

The views here are the best i've seen on any golf course, just stunning views of cardigan bay, Criccieth and Harlech catles, Snowdonia's imposing mountains and along the picturesque Llyn peninsula.

If you ever find yourself in the area make sure to get up to this course, put 20 quid in the box and enjoy, its an unforgettable course.

Just a quick note to say that I played a round on this course during our holiday in July and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The course is a good test of golf and the views from the castle round to the Snowdon massif are stunning. The 8th hole rising up to the elevated green was memorable and difficult! I hope to return one day.
