Great course, some very severe run offs, greens very quick but very sandy possibly just like this as nearing end of season. Enjoyed the challenge of next years Scottish open course.

1 of the courses played as part of the Links cup. A great links course, great layout, with top class greens in great condition. Hold approach shots well and great to putt on. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Overall had a great experience and would definitely return to play again in the future.

Played off white tee's in the Ayrshire links cup competition. Excellent layout and superb greens considering bad week of weather. Can fully understand why the various professional tours want to use the facilities. What a place it will become once the club house is built but the portacabin complex offers a warm welcome excellent shower and changing areas and the friendly staff make it easy to relax before or upon completion of your round. It is a must play for any level of golfer. It has a level of maturity you don't normally get from one that is not very old at all.

Played this during the winter time. Was cold and a little wet underfoot. A real long track off the back tees which makes it a long walk but one which is truly memorable. Course is open and expansive which means wayward drives weren't punished on that day.
Some stunning holes and a true challenge.
Highly recommend to any serious golfer.

Although not easy Dundonald is, for me, one of the most enjoyable courses for golfers of all abilities. Off the tee it gives everyone a chance, the fairways are mostly generous and really do offer you a chance to get the same ball round. however, the greens are incredibly tricky with well placed, treacherous bunkers and massive contours meaning a 3 putt is always a possibility.
The course is always in great condition and they usually offer some sort of discounted rate, it really is one of the best in the area and when you consider the nearby courses that is some compliment.

This has the makings of a great golf course, still feel the course needs time to establish itself and the lack of funding to provide a clubhouse worthy of the course is a concern.

The greens are truly great and very difficult if missed on the wrong side. Miss the greens and up and down is a challenge.

Overall really good value, good layout but still think this course can achieve a lot more in the future.

Superb course. Lovely variation in holes. Evil bunkers - stay out, especially the Well at the par 3. Good warm up with grass based range. Beware the undulating greens and the somewhat tricky pin positions. The clubhouse is Scotland's poshest portakabins!

Played this course last Monday in strong winds and rain. The course was in excellent condition, the bunkers made if very testing, but as all Scottish golf courses it was very well maintained .

A modern links which is maturing into a classic. Fantastic layout with some holes where a score can be made with others where you need to be on your game. Amongst some fine neighbours too but easily has its own and hopefully a future venue of the Scottish Open

The club house is temporary the staff are very friendly, there are plenty of courses to play in the area but this was the one for us having watched the pro's play at Loch Lomond when we found out this was the sister club we had to play it, you can not fault the course the starter tells you every thing about how the course was designed so you play holes going in different directions & when you play a hole you cannot see any other on the course, the greens are world class, & the women's euro tour will play there in July, we played in May 2015 being 16 handicapper I found the greens like glass they were that good, all the courses in the area are allot more expensive we played this for £50 & its the best
