Nice course

Pleasant course, long and open, large green in good condition.

Good value as prices are reasonable but nothing major happening on the the course, little reinvestment of fees, could be better but still worth the round

Great Winter Golf

I made my first visit to this easy walking, flat, semi parkland course on Friday last and was pleasantly surprised. Don't be put off by the occasional electricity pylon!
The very attractive green fee of £15 was great value, just like the full breakfast we enjoyed before our round.
Staff and members were friendly and courteous too.
The course was dry underfoot despite the recent rain and the holes were varied and interesting without being hugely challenging. Just what I'm looking for in Winter!
I'll certainly be returning.

Course is always playable no matter what time of year I play, considering it's winter and we've had a fair amount of rain the course has held up really well. Always on full greens which are some of the best in the area. The staff are really friendly as our all of the members that I have come across. Really enjoy my experiences at Eccleston Park.

You tend to get what you pay for and this is no exception, quite cheap but relatively good value, not the toughest course but I played it in winter and it was quite wet but quite enjoyable even if it's not the longest, friendly staff is always welcome

Decent course but very busy all day. A good test of skills especially trying to avoid the powerlines.

The set up and facilities are great and the place is impressive when you arrive. I always get a nice reception from staff and members and the food is great and the prices competitive. It would be a great course for a society day out and I know that the club are keen to get more groups along.

On the whole, I like Eccleston Park. Its got some really pleasant holes and its nice and flat so I never come off feeling like I've had a hard slog.

On my last visit the course was playing well for March and was in great condition. The greens were great for the time of year with consistency in roll and speed, and the course itself was well maintained and look well.

There are a couple of pretty bland holes sandwiched in between the nicer ones [as I guess most courses will have] but I can't help but feel that a little bit of creativity on these holes would make Eccleston Park a more appealing venue. They're just a bit flat, straight and hazardless.

The one thing that everyone must point out - and is something the club can obviously do nothing about - is the huge electricity pylons that are scattered about. I've had the pleasure of striking a lovely ball only to see it explode on the live wires and have to take a free drop. Its catered into the local rules, but it isn't ideal and is an eyesore on an otherwise very pretty track

All in all, Eccleston Park is a nice local course that always extends a friendly and warm welcome and always offers good value for money. If you ignore the pylon situation, its always worth a visit.
