Excellent greens at any time!

I have to come clean as I am a member of Long Ashton but this review is based upon playing during the last 10 months since the newly rebuilt, free draining greens have been playable.
Long Ashton's greens have always been very good, particularly in Summer, but since the reopening, they have been exceptional.
With all the heavy rainfall in 2014, not once has there been 1 temp in play & even now (January 2015) they are very true, and roll really well.
The practice facilities are excellent with a floodlit covered driving range, large short game area and putting green, all less than 1 minute from the 1st tee.
The 19th hole is well worth a visit - good atmosphere and some really good food.
Make sure Long Ashton is on your list of clubs to play!

Amazingly for mid March after a really wet winter, the course was in very good condition and the greens were excellent - fast and true.
Following our round the clubhouse was very busy but our food came very quickly and was excellent and good value.
We used the driving range before we went out for our round - the balls looked brand new and the mats were really good to hit off.
An excellent day!
