This Jack Nicholas signature course is amazing cut out through the valley it provides a stiff test of golf with lots of water and fast slippery greens but all presented perfectly. There`s no OB on this course so all lost balls going deep into the trees are treated like normal hazards. The green fringes can be very tricky to cheap from so make your club decision wisely or you can easily leave it two foot in front of you or send it to far.
Your warmly welcomed by friendly staff that will take your clubs and your car and park it for you and place your clubs on buggies or to a collection point ready for your round. Once paid you will be taken to a great practice range so you can hit some shots off before taking on this epic course and the staff will then come and collect you before your tee off time and take you to the practice putting green, i strongly recommend you take this chance just to get an idea of the speed of the greens.
Once your finished there they will show you the way to the first tee and away you go.
At the end of your round your meet by staff who present you with a lovely little touch a personalized medal for playing the course with your name engraved on it.
You could not be treated any better than you are at this course looking forward to returning again next year.

This golf course is approximately 50 mins away from Vilamoura and might put you off going but DONT LET IT.

This place just ouses class from the moment you arrive and your clubs are taken care of and put into your buggies so make sure you know who your partner is that day and the staff will do the rest.

Once your in the massive clubhouse the staff are very polite and friendly even after your coffee you can go and hit a few balls on the range and again a member of staff will escort you to the range so you don't get lost as this place is massive.

When you go to the first tee either the pro or a member of staff will greet you and tell you the do's& dont's of the course and you'll also receive a bag with a couple of pieces of fruit which is a nice touch also water supplied on the buggie.
We played off the pros tees on our first visit and wow that was bloody tough going and in our party we've got some very very good golfers and they struggled but still enjoyed it, the 2nd time we played we played off the whites and this was much more enjoyable but still very tough.
Because your in the hills it's very peaceful and at times you think your the only ones on the course especially if you play early as we do, we play there on the 8th of May this year 2017 and I can't wait it's just a fantastic experience but not being funny it's not a course that the high handicapper will enjoy unless they play off the yellow tees as there are plenty of holes that require a long straight tee shot to reach the fairways and you want everyone to enjoy there golf.

A member of staff will monitor you to see your keeping pace on the course and your replacing your divots which is only right, and when your playing the last hole again a member of staff will be in a buggie watching your approach shots to the green and when you've shaken hands after the game and return to your buggie he'll have a little gift for you it's a metal badge with the club crest on and your name is engraved on the back which you attach to your golf bag again a nice little touch, the first time you play it's a bronze colour badge then the second time it's silver which I've got on my tour bag, I think you only get two and it doesn't go to gold colour on your third visit but I'll find out in May.

Your clubs are also cleaned after your game and when your bus arrives again the staff take your clubs to the bus.

Your made very welcome and I believe this is one of the best if not the best course in the Vilamoura area, I can understand people liking other courses better for whatever reason but you can never say this is not a fantastic experience and your looked after so well from the moment you arrive.

George Sancaster.
