The course measure 6118 yards par 72 for men and 5436 yards par 73 for ladies. The course is fair with risks for the better golfer without reducing the enjoyment for the higher handicap player.

Lessons are available from our female professional who has just returned from a spell in Dubai this is Kim Bouldon sister of the ladies tour professional Amy Bouldon.
Once the golf is over you will not be disappointed with the catering and menu options.

I say not to be sniffed at as I've often seen this course but overlooked it for places like Llangollen, Northop, Conwy etc.

But we decided to take a punt having read other reviews.

We really were pleasantly surprised. Some good holes, tight-ish tree lined fairways, lovely greens and a good pace of play for a Sunday morning.

A lot of reviews I'd read mentioned 17 and 18. Totally agree. If you've not played before, just go for these two holes and when playing the 17th, aim for the White House - if you've played before you'll know what I mean.

All in all, well worth a visit even if it's to tick it off the list.

Played this in the past with Cargill golf society and it's always worth a visit. The course is always presented in good condition all year round with some memorable holes over the final few holes.

Not played this course for 3 or 4 years. what a very pleasant surprise. It is in the best condition i have ever known. Excellent. The greens were especially good and at the price we paid, couldn't fault it.

Played in a comp for members from local clubs course is well presented and greens the best I have played in the area. Last two holes stick in the mind last hole over a valley with carry all the way to the green. Hospitality was excellent with pleasant attentive staff. I will return before too long.

This course is a pleasant place for a round and a very nice welcome in the clubhouse. It can be a bit heavy in the winter but then so are most courses in the area.

The first 5 holes and the closing 5 are are nice layout and offer some good tests, the other 8 holes in the middle can be a bit similar and feel a bit up and down.

The finishing hole is a great par 3 which is all carry to the green and then trouble behind, it's a great match play hole where all can be won or lost.

Some excellent green fee deals at great value
