Set in the Clywdian countryside with picturesque views you can be sure of a friendly welcome and a challenging round of golf with tree lined fairways, and quality greens.

The river Alyn, lakes and streams mean that water can come into play on eleven of the holes.

With full practice facilities, and excellent restaurant serving a wide range of freshly prepared snacks and meals using locally sourced produce, a full sized snooker table and outdoor patio area overlooking the course, what more could you want for a great days golf?

The RAM Golf Society were made very welcome by all staff and members on this return to Padeswood and Buckley Golf Club. The golf course was in great condition, challenging on some hilly holes.

Played Padeswood & Buckley for the sixth year in a row with our Society on Sunday 6th August 2017. We were given the usual warm welcome and the food was excellent too. The course was in really good condition with all areas mown and all Bunkers raked with plenty of Sand in. The course is flat in the main and a fairly routine walk. The tee boxes were in great condition as were the fairways. The Greens were quick and gave a really good true roll. There are lots of ditches and ponds to navigate making it an interesting round of Golf. Well worth a visit and we will return again.

This course is fantastic in the summer months, and a very popular course. Can be very busy. Greens are equal to any greens in the area and quite easy on the legs. Fairways and rough very good. Bunkers are not consistent but still acceptable.

This is a tough little course, choosing the right shot is very important on most holes. Good course management is required. The greens are very good. Fairways are very good. Rough is cut quite low to allow fairness to all and quickening your round. Practice facility is good, nice putting green but no chipping area.also good practice ground. Nice clubhouse, good food. Very helpful pro shop must book in advance.

This course has some interesting holes and tricky layout, not the longest course and strategic tee shots required.

The greens can be very true in the season although not always the quickest. A very friendly clubhouse with great food and snooker table.

Very good value green fees and well worth a visit
