The final day of our society and unfortunately we didnt save the best for last.
The course is a typical parkland course and was fairly green considering the summer weve had. The greens very lush but also very slow.
Unfortunately it was also a 5 hour + round with waiting on every single shot. The course marshall who had been out before we teed off had disappeared and we all finished rather frustrated at the long round.
The food after was decent with friendly service. Facilities arent great with a tiny pro shop and no sky tv. The putting green was also terrible. Fortunately a small driving range gave us something to practise on.
Not sure this will be a future venue of ours

Played Pennant Park on Sunday 17th September 2017 with our Society. The weather really affected our visit as after a lot of rain in the previous days, the course was quite soft and boggy in places. It also rained heavily on the day. The Course in the main held up well but I would like to play this course again in drier times. I would recommend a buggy as it is quite a demanding walk in places. All areas of grass had been mown and were in really good nick. Bunkers were tidy and had been raked but unfortunately had a lot of water in them. The greens were also decent but were soft enough for footprints to be left. Some tee boxes were on a slope but all in all this would be a really good day out during the summer and we will definitely return. The hole with the raised tee is a cracker, think it was the 15th and gave some great views across the Mersey estuary. The back nine would be a tough test on a windy day.

Played the corse in very windy conditions but this didn't spoil a enjoyable round of golf. Played at 4pm so got the twilight rate of £10 -unbelievable value. The course is parkland in nature but the back 9,my favourite, was more hilly with spectacular views acrossthe North Wakes coast. Really enjoyed the 12th, 13th & 14th holes. Hard to fault this course and it is terrific value for money, would highly recommend a round at Penant Park..

Played this course twice now, first time in August and the last on Thursday 22nd December. In August we found the course to be in great condition with fast running greens and very undulating fairways a great test of ball control. When we returned in December the course was a little wet but still playing really well. There was not much roll of the ball on the fairways off the tee as you would expect in the winter but the greens were still true and surprisingly quick. We used a buggy as the course has a track you can follow as it is very hilly on the back 9 with some spectacular views sea. If you want a great value game of golf in the winter then you wont go far wrong with Pennant Park. Two ball with buggy £35. Food and drink also very well priced.

Played here 29th March. The evening before there was heavy rain and snow in the area so lot of courses shut or on temps.
Rang pennant park course open got a deal £70 4 ball and 2 buggies.
On arriva we recieved a warm welcome.
We had breakfast which was lovely.
Course was in good condition little wet in places but the greens were true and running fast.
Some boss holes on the course especially on the back 9 with great views over wirral and beyond.

Played Pennant Park earlier today for the first time for nearly 10 years and what a vast improvement.
The course was in excellent condition and some of the views are quite spectacular.
The only criticism I have is that the greens were particularly slow.

This course is set high in the Welsh hills with a front and back nine set in two separate areas. There is also a small driving range next to the club house. The club house serves a good range of fast foods cooked fresh to order by the extremely friendly and welcoming bar staff!

Played this lovely parkland course on the weekend under some lovely weather. A change of golf style was needed as the greens have an opportunity to attack the pins by being soft. Some fantastic views from the course and a good one to play
