Beautiful course, played in windy conditions, smaller greens than nearby courses so is a different challenge. Some very interesting holes. Would play again.

Fantastic traditional links which isn't the longest golf course but accuracy is vital.... played in a wet and very windy day but still a superb and enjoyable day.

Well worth a visit just hope it's not blowing a gale....

Played the course in the Ayrshire Links Cup in very strong winds which made the course a good challenge. Although not long the design puts a premium on accuracy off the tee. There are a few blind shots so a course planner would be an asset. I enjoyed not having to hit driver all the time. This course does provide a good test for all level of golfers but perhaps the more senior players have an advantage and would enjoy it more. I would recommend this course to play if you were in the area as a break from the sometimes heavy slog of the more well known links courses in the area. You are assured of a warm welcome

Awesome days golf on a true test of links golf.
Was worried it would be wet today given the past few days. No rain just wind. Course was in great condition, played true and fair, some excellent holes and great views off the shore line tees of the Ayrshire coast.
Highly recommend this classic course

A real welcome awaits you. Fantastic traditional links - one of the oldest clubs in Britain. Challenging holes await you at every turn. Whether it is the elevated tee at the 2nd, the blind drive at the 6th or the view from the 16th, they are all a treat. Not to mention the easy 220yrd par 3 18th into the wind! A great day out.

Played here with a society day in late May 2015. Title is a good summary but this is an exceptional golf course. Lots of interesting variety and a good mix of blind and open holes. Two drivable par 4s merit special mention and a finishing pair including one of those aforementioned par 4s (17) and a 220yd par 3 to finish keep you sharp until your round ends. Very warm welcome in the clubhouse also worthy of a mention. Great hospitality from very welcoming staff. Definitely one to visit.
