    Good reasonable priced course

Good reasonably priced course. Not the longest but still a reasonable test of your golf. Drainage much improved from a few years ago although par 4 17th is often replaced by a separate par 3 which means two par 3's to finish. Good value for money.

Very Good pay and play course

For a pay and play course it is really good, the greens are fast and true. The fairways are well defined, but you need to be straight to get a good score.
Overall well worth a round and will be back.

Definitely the worst course in the area, however it is a public course. The holes are rather short and the greens are terrible. I've often heard them described as 'it feels like putting over waffles'.

I get to play this course quite regularly as a visitor and it is always in a decent condition.

The fairways are tight and some large trees have had a few of my balls hit against them. It is an interesting layout and makes you think.

The hospitality is always welcoming, the practise facilities are reasonable, however if your are like me I just turn up and hit it.

The golf courses in the area can be pricey but this place offers excellent value.

Sir Frank Whittle - A great opportunity to really open the shoulders with the driver, be careful not to be too aggressive to a back pin position as going long leaves a very tricky up and down.

    'Well kept, good condition'

Well kept for the location and prices. Parklands course with quite thin fairway trees between the holes. Some interesting tree placements on a few holes. Bunkers rarely came into play for me. Generally well kept greens, although the 14th appears to be under some work.

Big hitters can hit a couple of greens, and an adventurous mid-distant hitter can easily drive the 4th. The 17th was unplayable due to the weather recently .. shame, as its a nice break. The long 15th can really ruin a good round though.

Nice practise green, and chipping green. The driving nets are poor though .. and well hidden. Pro shop is packed for such a small place, and the bar etc are adequate.
