A superb mixture of parkland and heathland, with stunning views over Lancashire and surrounding counties. The course measure 6411 yards with only two par fives and two par threes (one of which measures over 200 yards), Stand Golf Club represents a fine test for all standards of golfer.

For many years the course has been the envy of the area, with superb fairways and greens. The course is playable all year round due to its sand subsoil. The signature holes are the tough 4th, 9th and 10th, with the par 3 13th a picture in spring being surrounded by bunkers and rhododendron bushes.

02/12/18 Oak Tree Ince golf society played at Stand.A very warm welcome from Chris and a lovely breakfast. £25 for a round of golf on a sodden track was in my opinion a little steep.( Winter golf) Having said that no real complaints from the 12 players ,some interesting holes ,greens in good Nick .
Will try it again when the weather improves.

Played this course for 2nd time & very impressed both times. Monday 4th October stayed fine with light breeze. Course has great character & remains interesting & challenging throughout the 18 holes. Great bacon Butties! A delight demanding regular visits!

Played here last week as a 4 ball, handicaps ranged from 10 to 22, what a bargain. The course was immaculate in presentation and the greens ran true and reasonably quick Nice bunkers with decent sand.
Possibly a bit up and down for some but the views on a nice day are fantastic. Very open so guess could get quite windy
Nice clubhouse, we had bacon butty and coffee before play and a beer after. Very nice.
The pro was very welcoming when we arrived.

Will definitely return if the weather forecast is ok.
